Mike Surratt is a full-time musician/vocalist with over 50 years of professional experience as an accordionist & keyboardist who performs primarily throughout the Washington, DC - Baltimore, Maryland - Richmond, Virginia Corridor.
Mike has played his share of Restaurants, Lounges, Caribbean Cruises, Dances and Private Functions showcasing a wide variety of music genres from 50's, 60's, 70's & 80's Pop, Ballroom Latin & Swing, Classic Country, European Favorites to Torch Songs of the 1930's. When not performing as a soloist, Mike currently leads two bands:
The ECLECTIC COALITION BAND (Ballroom/Swing Dance Band)
CONTINENTALS of Washington, D.C. (POLKA BAND)
Who says that the accordion isn't cool? Mike makes it cool.
With The Continentals of Washington, D.C., Mike enjoys performing on tour throughout many parts of the U.S.A., when time and local scheduling permits. The USA Map shows all the states (in green) where he has performed.
In addition, Mike is now recording and producing his own original music compositions and is a voting member of N.A.R.A.S.
