Kristen Speller was an Award winning Cape Verdean American Rock/Folk musician who starred in "Hanging With My Sisters" out on Prime Video. Her third studio album, "Entering Taunton" was a love letter dedicated to her mother, referencing her hometown city, Taunton, MA. Kristen wrote and played dulcimer on all 12 songs. She performed with her group at the IC Showcase after COVID, called the RIUnion, in West Kingston, Rhode Island. She was far too young to leave us. Rest easy, Kristen.
