Jamie Alimorad's vocal-centric pop music has propelled him to over 2 million YouTube views, over 15 million streams, 38,000 social followers, and over 27,000 fans on his direct mailing list. Alimorad's unique blend of influences from Richard Marx, to The Tubes, to The Beatles are evident on his independently-released first two albums CORNERSTONE and WORDS LEFT UNSAID. These acclaimed collections led to a national U.S. tour, singing the "Star-Spangled Banner" at a Boston Red Sox home game at Fenway Park, and an invitation to be a top contender on American Idol - which he boldly turned down in order to retain his autonomy.
The result of this decision paid off on Alimorad’s breakthrough album, This Is TOMORROW CALLING, which saw the singer team up with the sibling power duo of Grammy-Nominated singer-songwriters and producers Gino & Ross Vannelli. The recording was a huge success, landing the two singles: "Not Ready To Say Goodbye," and "Brighter Days," on the New Music Weekly Top 10 chart. The album went on to appear on the Grammy® Awards first-round ballot in several categories, win the Overall Grand Prize at the USA Songwriting Competition, and was nominated for a HMMA award and two New Music Awards: AC New Artist of the Year and AC Breakthrough Artist of the Year. The video for "Brighter Days" was dedicated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and featured footage of the Out of The Darkness Walk in Santa Monica, California.
Touring behind This Is Tomorrow Calling began with a concert opening for Gino Vannelli at The Saban Theatre (Beverly Hills). Additional dates included a headlining showcase at SXSW (Austin), The Listening Room (Nashville), and a feature spot in the Composer's Showcase (Las Vegas). International coverage of the album included a live broadcast on 94.1 FM in Melbourne, Australia before the tour ended due to COVID-19.
Following up This Is Tomorrow Calling, Jamie partnered with Ross Vannelli as producer and co-songwriter with a waterfall series of singles dropping throughout 2022. The first single, "Give A Little Lovin’," hit #1 on the New Music Weekly Indie Top 40 Chart for 20 weeks (17 consecutively), and the music video was featured on MTV's Spankin' New. The follow-up single, "Break the Fall," charted a new path for Alimorad, with a landslide of film festival selections and honors, including the Buenos Aires International Film Festival, Pinnacle Film Awards, DaVinci International Film Festival, New Creators Film Awards, IndieFEST Film Awards, Mindfield Film Festival, among others, as well as recognition in the International Film Awards for Best Original Song. The third single, "It Never Rains in L.A.," garnered four ISSA Awards nominations, and was nominated for Best Pop Song (America) in the InterContinental Music Awards. Alimorad won Best New Artist at the 2024 World Entertainment Awards.
