Devin Leigh is a Fort Worth, TX based singer/songwriter/guitarist. He has been inducted into the Texas Blues Hall of Fame, as well as the Texas Guitar Hall of Fame, the Buddy Magazine Texas Tornado. He is a Billboard Top Ten Charting artist, #1 ITunes, and an HMMA (Hollywood Music in Media) winner. He's a true one-man-band, incorporating percussion and harmonica into an already dynamic solo show. The Fort Worth Weekly said of Devin's live show, "The singer songwriter is a one man wrecking crew at live performances."
Devin began his career as lead man of a neo-rockabilly band called Hillbilly Cafe, which won several local awards including Band of the Year. After they parted ways, Devin began a new chapter of his career playing lead guitar for other artists including Texas music scene fixtures such as Billboard charting artist Bleu Edmondson, Jason Eady (Rolling Stone top 10 artists to watch), and Max Stalling (Texas Country Music Hall of Fame). Playing lead guitar for nearly 10 years allowed Devin to truly hone his guitar playing skills to become "one of the town's best guitarists" (fortlive.com).
In fact, in 2016, he was awarded one of the most prestigious honors a Texas guitar player can earn, being named a Texas Tornado by Buddy Magazine alongside guitar legends like Stevie Ray Vaughn and Johnny Winter. In 2010, he began his solo career, and over the new few years developed his unique, contemporary, rocking blues sound that has garnered him a healthy slew of awards including an HMMA Award, a Josie Award, a Global Music award, and an Akademia award. Nominations include and an Independent Music Award, Worldwide music award, and first round of the 2016, and 2017, 2018 Grammys.
As a recording artist Devin has worked with Platinum producer Dwight Baker (Kelly Clarkson), three time Grammy® winner Tre Nagella (Ed Sheerhan, Taylor Swift), Erik Herbst (The Eagles, Blake Shelton), and LLyod Maines (Dixie Chicks, Pat Green). Devin's music has also been featured in film and video games.
Other career highlights include performing in an off-Broadway play with Micky Dolenz of the Monkees, performing on a #3 CMT song, and a "Live at Billy Bob's" DVD.
Devin currently can be seen performing his award winning music 15-20 shows a month around Texas. He is a voting member of the Recording Academy (The Grammys®), which has afforded him the opportunity to collaborate with Grammy nominees and winners from around the world.
